as soon as i bring up the photo-dvd program I get an error message: cannot connect to access layer. what do i do now, tried to burn photos anyway, wound up with a blank disk, Any ideas out there? only had the program registered for a week!

Hi noodles27 Welcome to our forums. This error message means that you do not have the VSO access layer installed ( this is what all VSO software uses for recording - its their own 'ASPI' layer and is names PAtin Couffin engine during install). Quite why it hasn't installed itself with the sodtware is unusal but can you installing again to see if the PC engine installs.
