Droppix announces the release of Droppix Recorder 1.1. This new version adds support for multisession discs and features new tools for analyzing, benchmarking and upgrading your CD and DVD drives. Changelog - New! Droppix Recorder is now able to quickly and easily create multisession discs. - New! For even more reliability, Droppix Recorder can now validate each file located in your project before recording and verify that data written to disk was correctly recorded. - New! With Droppix Recorder, you can now automatically download the latest firmwares for your CD/DVD drives and take advantage of the corrections and improvements made by manufacturers. - New! Droppix Recorder now provides a complete set of tools for analyzing and benchmarking your CD/DVD drives. - New! Droppix Recorder now provides useful commands to quickly record ISO image files or any other files directly from Windows Explorer. - New! Droppix Recorder is available is Spanish. - Droppix multimedia player has been improved and includes now a small built-in peak meter. - Miscellaneous bugs with DVD-RAM recorders have been fixed (erasing, slowness, etc.). - CD/DVD copy and recording engine has been improved. - The ‘hidden’ attribute is now really taken into account for UDF file system. - Small bug has been fixed with the ISO9660 files system. - General display enhancements. - The ghost window bug has been fixed. - Added support for new DVD recorders. - Some minor tweaks and bug fixes.
