My problem seems to have been stated exactly by Bill. Unfortunately, I do not know how to do all of the things he is doing to try and fix the problem. My DVD writer is not a combo writer, it only writes to DVD+R (as far as I know). I love the software and it presents some great possibilities for Christmas, but is of limited use to me if the "gifts" will not play. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions. I have a Compaq Presario R3240US with a Toshiba ODD-DVD -R6252 CD/DVD player/writer. I am using the Try and Buy version of the software. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

you need to send your log file to the technical support ( it is the file named photodvd.log in c:/program files/vso/photodvd ) we will sort the problem based on this information.
