The only way you can have this error all the time is when you try to open directory without ifo, bup, vob files. You have to see all the ifo, etc files when you hit Select button (not just highlight directory which contains files). Try not to use "Select" at all. Just double click on one of the files of your ripped to HD disk. |

I suggest to click on Select. Just take a look what the header of the popup window says. |

| ok, got it working with the Select button. one more question: is there a way to STOP DVDRemake from constantly scanning hard drive and still have preview ? i set preview from 10sec to 0 but then i see no still preview of first PGC |

| If you set it to other than 0, it will scan the movie, and if the movie is located on your HD... Turn this feature off by setting it to 0, and scan into the PGC manually by scrolling to the right under the preview window. |

Hi and welcome to the forums as erdoke points out, most PGC's will start with a black screen so you must manually slide the preview bar to see what it contains I also like your Desktop Theme, what is it and where can I get it? |

ok. thanx. itz just that DVDRM keeps scanning my hard drive the whole time, cos the red HDD LED lights up and stays red and i can hear it scanning. which i think is unusual as most apps scan once and thatz it. but if i set the preview to 0 then i get a black still, but i know that the 20th Cent. FOX promo is there. anyway, i chose to hide that 20th Cent. promo but when i saved the files and play them about 10 minutes of the start of the actual movie was gone ! hmm... visual theme is nightshades by lightstar. it looks alot better once you tweak it a bit via display props/advanced... i don't use itz icons or wallpaper |

thanks for the info on the theme . Are you using anything like Windowblinds to use the theme? some movies have the 20th Century Fox intro as part of the first chapter as well as part of the movie. It sounds as if you have hidden the 1st cell and it also contains part of the movie if this is the case then it's best you use the slider to preview what the whole cell contains before deleting it |
