Hi metal80s, and welcome to the forum. Importing a movie can take a lot of time when DRM finds that the information in IFO files mismatches the structure of the VOB. In this case you have to be patient while DRM reads all the needed information from the VOB files. Have you waited enough time? 10 minutes should be more than enough on a not-so-fast PC as well. Would you please check that there are any errors reported in the Log file? The file is located in the folder of the DRM executable.

After 2 hours still the same problems. I can't find that folder at all. What I have listed when DRM Pro is open is DVD Video Manager First Play Menus ja Video Title Set 1 Menus ja Program Chains Titles I can't even use the scroll bars because it freezes up

What is the proper format of the movie that is created by your settop DVD recorder? Is it possible that it is not a valid DVD-Video?

Did you copy the VOBs to the hard drive first or do you try to import directly from DVD? If the latter is true, try to copy the VOBs to the HD first to see if this is the problem.

I was trying it right from the disc. I will try ripping it first as you suggested. Okay I ripped it with Easy DVD Copy and it left me with the following files VIDEO_TS.BUP VIDEO_TS.IFO VIDEO_TS.VOB VTS_01_0.BUP VTS_01_0.IFO VTS_01_2.VOB VTS_01_3.VOB VTS_01_4.VOB So my question now is which file do I use? I tried VIDEO_TS.VOB and it didn't have the video content at all

Put it into a folder and show this folder to DRM. It seems that a VTS_01_1.VOB is missing though (and also VTS_01_0 if there is a VTS Menu).
