| Hi Everyone! I just wanted to make a few comments on DivxToDVD. First of all it seems very fast (I am converting a movie as we speak) converting in real-time (32FPS) but I noticed it has no SMP optimisations. My Dual Athlon 2000 only shows 50% on both processors. SMP support would be nice (I have 3 SMP systems I could use to do converting). Also Plugin support for other formats (XVid) would be nice. I just converted an XVid-encoded movie using TMPG Xpress and it did a nice job visually, took a long time, and screwed-up the timecode on the encoded files so bad that I now have 2 4GB Mpeg2 files that I cant author. Do any of your products rewrite timecode? |

| I noticed MPEG2 was an option for file format in the source file window of the Beta, but when I tried to convert a recorded TV program in MPEG2 format, it didn't go... didn't work at all... Is there or will there be support for MPEG2? That's a show stopper for me, personally. Thankx |
