Ok. Please check 2.5.4 - we think this release will fix playback time related problems.

Looks like time problem is fixed. I just did two different split episodic dvd discs. One was the Sliders disc that I tested with 2.5.3. The other was a STNG disc that has had the time display problems since the beginning of DRM. Both now match reported and actual playback times in Mark's Tray DVD Player analysis report. Both discs also display the playback time correctly as they should. Also, the one extra second added to each cell that was introduced in version 2.5.3 is fixed. I can finally begin using this software other than testing each new release and save a lot of time doing so. Thanks again for the excellent support you give with DRM. Chewy

Hello guys, The time mapping problem that was mentioned and fixed sounds just like the problem I was experiencing with the older version of DvdRemake (see my June 2 post). Since then my Apex player has gone to live with a friend, however I was seeing the time counter on my current Toshiba set top player jump forward and backwards during playback of exported DvdRemake projects. Although this particular player was not suffering the chapter jumping (Rev Scan) or picture freeze on (Forward Scan View at 4X or higher) the counter display would read erratically at times, sometimes skipping backward and forward during normal playback. I noticed this counter skipping also up to my most recent version DvdReamke Pro Version 2.5.3. I'm getting ready to upgrade to the latest version and see if the erratic counter display problem is gone, then I will pay a visit to my friend, pop a DvdReamake Pro v2.6.2 project burn into my old Apex and see if the chapter jumping and 4X or higher Forward Scan View problems are finally gone. Sounds like the problem may be fixed for me....if so, THANK GOODNESS for this problem being brought again to attention with your very detailed trouble-shooting analysis provided to aid the author in resolving this problem. I will report back soon with my findings.

Good job guys! All three problem appear fixed. Problem 1. FIXED: Jumpy/erratic time playback display counter on my newer Toshiba table top model. This would cause the display to toggle forward and backwards erratically during playback. No video playback issues however with this model. Problem 2. FIXED: Older Apex table top model, had FF view mode lockup problem that would cause the video to freeze still-frame at 4X or higher. Problem 3. FIXED: Older Apex table top model, would jump to the beginning of movie when FR view mode was selected regardless of where the movie was progressed into playback. I will keep the forum posted if any other problem/s show up on this end. Thanks
