Picture flips on TV using a Pioneer DVD player and some static in the sound. Since I'm new at this does anyone know what my problem might be. There is really no adjustments, is there?

Hi, I am afraid, I can confirm occasionally stucking videostreams on my Pioneer 444 and I am sure it is no media issue in my case. Audio is good though. Maybe your audio files have some damaged frames. You may try other audio files or rerip/reconvert them. You could also try to change some values in your Pioneer audio setup.

I changed the setting on the video out format from NTSC 4:3 to 16:9. don't know why it fixed the problem but it did.
