Are you using a mod chip or a boot disk, to try to play the back-up?

if you have a messiah 2 chip or similar ( its been a while since i sold my ps2 so i dont know what latest chip is ) then reading to iso in dvddecrypter and then burning that iso with the same software used to work 100% for me, I should think such tricks as the cd swap and flip lid have different ways of booting

for dvddecrypter, simply use Mode>>>ISO>>>Write to iso for writing and Mode>>>ISO>>>Read to ISO for reading.. Be aware that this will work depending on your chip. Good luck

Well Hi again to you all it has been 5 mounths since I first posted about my problems with my ps2 not being able to read a back up of my daughters games, well I have finally got round the problem with a boot disc(did not understand what it meant at the time) well it is called a slide card combo, which you boot up with then take out and then put your back up in then bingo you can play your back up.I must stress that not all back up's will play, as a rule when the back up has been installed you will see a blue edging around the screen then it will load but if the edging is red then you will not be able to play the game, so for £30 pounds I think it is well worth it as you do not have to open the back of your ps2 to install a mod chip.I hope that is help to some of you out there who like me do not understand all the jargon that is said, not that I am complaining about you guys out there as I think you all are most helpfull.
