@pat67, pleased to hear it worked as I thought it would Wink. I've written a quick guide on how to do it so maybe you could try it yourself to see if it's easy enough to follow Smile http://www.cdr-zone.com/guides.php?section=Guides&action=show&id=5 @Dimad, it doesn't work just by setting the audio/subs Sad. I tried that with PowerDVD which always defaults to English due to lack of language setting. I imported the IFO's and replaced both the root menu's for English (LU1) & German (LU2) with menu's I could recognise. After exporting and then playing the DVD I could tell which menu would play regardless of the setting and English would play every time that's why I swapped the LU's 1 &2. It then played the 'old' Ger VOB's as it defaulted to LU2 which was now Eng. The problem is that if a player was set to Ger then it would play LU1 which was the 'old' Eng VOB's Sad. Is there a command to set preffered menu language or do you have to do it manually? would it be to much programming to add an option to swap LU's within the DVD, maybe even change the LU number also? (I've added it to the list of requests anyway but I'm hoping it would be an easy addition Smile)

This would be quite easy to do, but I still don't understand: if you -delete- all but german language units AND change stream selection related commands will this force german LU to be used? What if you replace language (of LU) to underfined?

I thought it would be easy to do Very Happy it's powerdvd I'm relating too. There is no language setting so just swapping the LU's means that LU 2 then plays as it's English. If you then put the DVD into a player that is set to German as default then it will play LU 1 which was the old English Menu Sad if you changed the LU's and then also changed them to undefined then I suppose it would play the 1st LU by default but maybe people want to keep the LU tag or do you mean change the LU to undefined in the audio/subs? I change those as it would still pick up on the English language in PowerDVD no matter what LU it plays
