DVDREMAKE Pro Movie won't load to Title Menu after I edit

I am new, so I am playing around with Enemy at the Gates DVD to see how this program works. I use DVDshrink to rip out audio and subtitles. Then I load the ifo file into DVDremake pro. I am interested in gettting rid of all the extras, commentary and trailers. So I follow the guide DVD Backup guide to the letter. I dont mess with small stuff. In fact the smallest thing I rip is 16 mb. OK so i click on a vts and open it up, extras. Alot of them. So I go through the upper right pane and go through the specific DVD VTS. I right click on all that are large (smallest I delete is 16 MB, rest are less than 1 mb so I dont mess with). I do this individually. There are several to go through. Deleted scenes, trailers, bloopers... Once I get that done, I go to edit the menu buttons, I automatically hide to button to special features from the main menu (that takes care of all extras) and the second button I hide is in language FRENCH. Only 2 buttons. Save project. Export. I then try the files in PowerDVD. But the movie starts to play (blank/black screen, with sounds. I can hear sound in the background, like the opening theme. Movie continues to play, blank screen. Movie starts. It does not go to the title menu as the normal dvd does. I click TITLE MENU, sound stops, time continues to click by (seconds showing movie is playing) and thats it. I click subtitle menu, angle menu, audio menu, same thing. Sound has now stopped, but time continues to roll. What else is interesting. When I do start the movie after loading the files into PowerDVD, as mentioned black/blank screen. Sound plays. BUT when I move the Navigational Slider to a point somewhere, or click chapter forwards, the picture finally comes in. What am I doing wrong?? Its an error somewhere on my part using DVDremake. I tried a second, simpler movie, Pulp Fiction, one main VTS, same problem. Again following guide.

Hi and welcome to the forum. Could you open your video_ts.ifo in IfoEdit, and check if you first play still has commands. Or re-import your export into DVDRemake if that's easier for you. So check if you have pre- and post-commands as in the original.

No it is not 2.4.2, can I still upgrade or do I need to buy 2.4.2? I purchased this while I was still at school and havent even used it since. I have 2.2 2nd. I tried something drastically different. All I Wanted to do is hide a button. I had a movie I ripped subs out, and so I wanted to hide a button. Exported, tried to play, wont load. Please let me know if I can still upgrade to 2.4.2.

turns out it was a problem with my DVDremake. Either version or bad download? Anyhow works now. Thanks

Im glad all is sorted now..v 2.20 had a couple of bugs which l8er versions fixed..
