| Here's my situation. I'm a consultant that visits a number of clients, most of whom do NOT have CD-RW or DVD-RW drives on their computers. But before I do certain kinds of work I'd like to be able to burn critical data to a CD or DVD. I'd like to be able to put a CD into a regular CD reader and run a burning application from it. Then, I just plug in my USB DVD-RW and burn whatever data I need to. Is there any program that can do this? Also, if the application is small enough, maybe it could be run from USB flash drive instead. Ultimately I want to be able to run a burner application without having to actually install it on the clients computer. Thanks Robert |

| Hi Techarium If your clients are using XP then they have a burning engine built in already for things such as simple backup. IM pretty sure that as long as all u need is data backup, then burnatonce would run with just the exe only off a cd ( www.burnatonce.com) and alot of burning software will run in a basic mode if all u keep is the main exe although you must be ready to except a lt of the more advanced features wont work without all the dlls and install files. |
