Hello all I'm having a problem getting my files off of some cd-r's i burnt when I was getting my new computer set up. I didnt think it would be a problem making 600+mb single zip files to burn, but now that i try to copy or extract the files or even explore the zip nothing happens. When I try to copy the zip it goes 90% of the way then slows down and eventually sais cant copy file "blah" invalid ms-dos function or something like that. The cd-r's that do work are ones with multiple smaller zip's not single big ones. Please if anyone knows a way around this or anything it would help. Crying or Very sad

Yes all other plain cd's like games and music work and the cd-r that has many small zips seems to work but it seems like my drive cant handle one large zip file like the cd-r's in question have. And as soon as I can, I'm going to try in someone else's drive.

Check out www.arrowkey.com. They have several CD-RW data recovery tools available. I used to own and operate www.cdrecovery.com and dealt with this issue, among many others, for the first 5-6 years that CD Writing first became public norm. You can look up CD-RW Data Recovery in any search engine find numerous results. If cost is an issue and time is not, you can send the discs to me and I'll see what I can do(FREE). Send me a private email and we'll discuss details. Robert www.techarium.com
