If you've discovered something which you think might be a bug, please follow these guidelines submitting it. 1) Please provide a clear description of how to reproduce the problem (how disk was edited if it is a playback problem or "where to click" and in what sequence - if it is a problem with the GUI). Or if problem is not always reproducible (say crashes) - try to describe what you've been doing before and during the crash. 2) Equally important to describe the problem (and why you think it is a bug Smile ). Say, if it is a problem with playback, indicate where on the disk it occurs (titleset, PGC, cell) and how to get to the menu (since we can't have all the disks to check them in action). 3) We might need some files: almost always: DvdReMake.log - especially if it is a problem with importing disk; zip file with original ifo files; zip file with exported ifo files - if it is a playback problem; quite often (especially if it is a problem with menus or multi angles/seamless playback): zip with vob files with relevant vobs/cells. How to prepare vob files: VOB files are typicaly quite large. To make them smaller: - copy your original XXXXXX.VOB to somewhere; - load it in the MenuEdit (If you don't have a MenuEdit just download a free one); - delete all vobs exept XX, YY, …; Just select a vob and hit delete, it is faster to start with last vobs for large vob files. - if can (i.e. have registered version) delete all irrelevant cells (hint: start deleting vobs/cells from the end - it will be faster); If these vob files are still too big: Delete everything but navigation packs from the resulting files. These can be easily done with VobRator (you can get here: http://www.digital-digest.com/dvd/downloads/showcategory.php?cid=12 ): - open XXXXX.VOB into VobRator and for each vob id - select VOB (id=XX) and check "include in output"; - select all streams in vob XX one by one (exept NAV (0xBB) ) and uncheck "include in output"; - you should have red circles on everything but NAV in vob XX, YY, etc. Hit Save and give file some name. Below are examples of useful bug reports (these are few things that were reported and fixed in DvdReMake ver 1). ----------------------------------------------------- Title: Hide All Command Does Not Zero Still Times Reproducible: Always Repro: 1. Open or import a DVD project with stills in any of its VMG PGC. 2. Select "Hide All" on the "VMG PGCs" level. 3. Navigate down to the stills. Video is replaced, but still time has not changed. What was wrong: A still is still a still, even a pitch-black one! Workaround: Not available ------------------ Title: Easy And Advanced mode buttons reset editing tree position Reproducible: Always Repro: 1. Open a DVD project. Select Easy edit button on the toolbar. 2. Go to a title, expand its node in the tree, exposing its menu node, select that node. 3. Click on the (already selected) Easy mode button. After a brief (~1s) pause the editing tree collapses to title level, and the selection jumps to VMG. What was wrong: Click on an already depressed mode button was not supposed to do anything. The same problem occurs with the Advanced button.

Dimad, some people may be ripping the DVD first where others may be using software such as AnyDVD maybe if you ask users to mention how they are accessing the data (direct or ripped) it may save asking afterwards. If it's direct, what software are they using and if they ripped it then state how they ripped it and what with
