I usually Rip with DVD95Copy and Burn with Nero (at my leisure), or if that has a problem with a movie I'll use DVD95Copy, burning from a Folder rather than a Disk. "Doubt" Ripped ok, but Nero fell over & so did DVD95Copy. Nero will play it as a movie on my PC, but that's where the movie is staying for the time being anyway. Never had a complaint with the Software or the service, when ever something new comes up, so does a new version.

DIGI COME BACK PLEASE.

Does anyone know if this product is officially gone and if so can you recommend another similar program? Thanks in advance.

I don't know whether this product is active or not, but you can email the author about it. An alternative active program is DvdFab with all available options.

The authour of the program hasn't answered any emails since the middle of May so I wouls presume from this that we can conclude the program as a dead issue. Although strange that the site has not been taken down.

I might be wrong, and hope that I am, but if so then the program mentioned above is a very adequate substitute.

i wouldn't get my hopes up on this program ever being updated again

no responses in e-mails should be a good enough sign of its demise.

especially seeing it has been a good long time now that has past

to bad

was a great program while it lasted Sad

I meant to post this here, sorry for the double post,

I cant say about future updates, but the software still activates so its not dead.

I get the impression hes assuming everyone is using anydvd to rip now. its required for the so called BD capability. he may be right,i use anydvd now,and i used to hate it.

I wouldnt call it dead yet,but it certainly isnt what it used to be.

However,
I am not entirely convinced that digi is still the owner.
I think if digi still was the owner,we would be seeing updates and REAL improvements, like REAL BD capability.

I suspect there may have been an owner change about the time the history log stopped getting updated.

but I am just guessing, maybe digi will post and correct me........

I'm not so sure jwo62. You get no response if you email the suport link. You get no response if you send a log file. So if someone else has bought the site then they sure aren't utilizing it to the best of its ability.

I've tried to email Digi directly, and I've tried responding to an email he had sent me to see if I could get anything, and nothing.

My guess... and it is purely a guess.. is that the powers that be are now in control and using it to get money from the unsuspecting that stumble acrossed it now.

Hopefully anyone that is considering buying this product will read the posts first.

I have no idea what happened to Digi either there is no reponse from support or any other email but the dvdfab products have been updated to the latest version so I kind of think whoever is running it now has no coders capablities for new releases so you maybe right and he sold out or something else pure speculation but the server is being updated but not the dvd95copy program.
Maybe he needed a Vacation who knows time will tell.
