OS : Windows XP Pro
Drive : Sony DVD RW DW-Q120
Ok everything was working perfect then today I goto burn an audio CD with Nero prem. 7 and it only would recognize my DVDRW drive as a image recorder so I ditched Nero thinking it was bugging and attempted to burn a DVD with ConvertX. Now all I get is a "Burner is busy" failed attempt each time ?! Instead of my usual default setting it is also set at image settings w/ ConvertX.
I've ran numerous virus/spyware scans which render me clean.
Registry Mechanis & CCleaner both have supossedly fixed errors.
I did have a virus a while back that may have contributed to this but what else can I do to rectify this ?
I've updated drivers etc.
Ok just now I insert a burnt DVD and it's being detected on 2 drives D: & E: and I only have one DVD drive I am baffled ?!

Do a system restore to your last working day. Do you know what the cleaners fix? It's supposed to be in the log.
What version of CXD are you using? Just change the setting back to the burner instead of image.

Maybe one drive is a virtual drive that Nero creates. |

| Yeah thanks I had a virus/root kit it's all gravy now. that virus fooled 3-4 scanners and apps tho. |
