| I use glossy labels created with my ink jet printer on my DVD movie backups I create and have noticed that some of the discs do not work well when I play them in different DVD players like my portable Polaroid DVD player or my 5 disc DVD disc changer. The movies will show pixalation, skip chapters or even freeze up. If I play the DVD disc without a label it will work fine. Anyone else have this problem? Is there anyway to solve this with the labels on the disc. |

| Hi mrpatchman and welcome to our forums If it works well without the label then it is safe to preume that the addition of the label is causing issues. I personally don't use these labels as the application can unbalance discs. I would suggest that buying a printer capable of CD DVD printing would be a safer option. Both Epson and Canon do very affordable printers capable of this function. |

| Well, it's been 3 yrs and I'm back. I've ditched the stick on glossy labels and bought the Epson ink jet printers that print directly on to the disk. This works much better and does not affect the data on the disk. Thanks for the advise. |
