A friend and I were talking about various stuff, when he wondered what makes a CD-R write-once and a CD-RW mutiply writeable.
If I remember correctly, writing on a CDR causes bubbles to pop or something like that, making it unwriteable after you've finished burning files. Yet we have CDRWs using the same technology, so what makes the CDR write-once? The layer composition?
