Hi, I borrowed this movie from a friend of mine. From the manufacturer Dutch and Portuguise subs was not present, and the subtitle buttons where therefore removed. To awoid playback problems caused by removed subtitle streams I choose to adjust the streams the subtitles should play starting from the one which contained the Dutch subs. To make it work I also adjusted the buttons commands as following:

Audio track 8 was Dutch before but I changed it to Finnish which I did to change the used stream to 9. The button for Finnish was therefore also changed to one subtiles less. Dutch had the command R[0]=72 Link PGC11 and the Finnish one had R[0]=73 Link PGC11, but since Finnish took its possition I gave the subtitle button for the Finnish subtitle this command: R[0]=72 Link PGC11. I adjusted the following subs respectively where needed. Everything should be ok.

But... somehow when playing the dvd NO audio track is seleced during playback if no audio track is selected. Not even track 0 (first audio stream) which is most common in such situations. Actually not even audio selection or subtitle selection from menu affects anything during playback.

First I thought it was due to the changes I made, but I realized that it acted so from the beginning also. Is this caused by copy protection or???
I think there are too many commands on this one to get me the right overview.

See for yourselves here:

No, it's caused by navigation error. I don't think this is how it is in the original. First play was changed manually to jump to the root menu without properly setting the registers, so in the end the audio was assigned to a non-existent stream, thus no audio is heard.

To fix this,
1. Change First Play PGC to "Jump VMG PGC 2".
2. In VMG PGC 4, add at the end the pre-command "Jump VTS 1 "root" menu (title 1)".

That should do it.
