It may be helpful if it is possible to lock register window to stay open on top when running debug.

I have mine docked at the bottom. By default, they stay hidden. I suggested a year ago to have the Registers and System Registers panes stay open by default during debug session, but the argument was that a majority of unsophisticated users do not want to see that, they rather want to simulate the DVD with remote buttons.

Anyway, if you move the panes around, DvdRemake will remember its positions the next time you run the program.

What would be better is if the debug window positions be saved in a layout, so that if you mess something up, you can always reload the saved layout. This I suggested early on as well.

Hi toaddub
I have mine also at the bottom, but like you say, it hides every time mouse is moved.
I would like to see provision where you can lock the window to stay open as it is helpful to see R value change in navigation to be sure if it has to be reset before next step to not interfere with other commands.
I see now it interferes with bottom part of debug (play button), but it could be displayed on the side or somewhere where it is free.

What I mean is you can make the pane stays open by clicking the Auto Hide button in the upper right corner of the pane.
