| Can you tell anything about the new image processor? Does it support multipass, what are the differences between the new one and the old one? |

| Can this beta co-exist with present release version 2.2.3.258? Really would love to try this one out, but cant afford to lose my working current installation. |

I don't know about the previous two questions, but it DOES install at a different location so your original version is preserved.

Good to hear! But is it installing a new Patin-Couffin access layer also? It might interfere with the old one or even overwrite it? |

I'd bet this release is not the final one....so why not download it and "play" with it. that's the only way you're gonna know if it's for you or not. It does NOT combine 2 indentically named files into one output....or at least I haven't figured out how it does it....there's no documentation that I can find.
The new menus are nice. I've not taken any in depth dive into them but they are better than the old and they're....well.....nice. Don't know if we can add our own or not.
Fool around with it...that's how you'll learn it.
Good luck...

Sure, i have no problems with that, i participated in the beta testing cycle of the previous major release (the present) so bugs and such are not scaring me I just wanted to know if the two versions can coexist because i have a really nice and very well working installation of the program and i dont want to mess it up........but wth, i´ll do it! |

Installed and tested with a couple of conversions, seems like an excellent piece of software just got even better! Very nice additions in the new version, menu system is really astonishing and an overall quick opinion is that this will surely be a #1 hit.
I´ve got a dual core AMD Athlon64 X2 4800+, the conversion is much faster with the optimization for dual core processors, nice feature.
Noticed two things, in the Settings menu theres a feature called Image processing, but on the tab that shows up when clicking it it says Video processing, should be changed. Also we need an option to automatically (in a given amount of time) erase rewritable media before burning without having to manually confirm that with every burn. |

Load first file, then right click on first file name - "merge more files..." ! |
