Possible Import Help For A Newbie?

I'm using the demo version of DRM Pro 3.6.1 and hope someone can help.

My dvds are ripped to hard drive and both play perfectly on WinDVD 6.
But the second one will not import into DRM. I get an error message and most of the chapters are missing.

Is this a Demo problem? Should i get the full version?

Hope someone can help as it's getting frustrating.

What software do you use to rip to HD? Make sure it's the latest version. Can you open it in DVD Shrink?

That particular DVD was downloaded from a Newsgroup and it does open in DVD Shrink.

Can you access the menus in WinDVD 6? Could you show a picture in one of the menus along with the Buttons pane showing?

The DVD may not authored correctly, try using FixVTS to fix the DVD, then import into ReMake.

I can access the menus in WinDvd 6 and FixVTS didn't help.

I did try copying the Dvd with CloneDvd and some chapters were still missing,but not as many.

Can you still access those missing chapters in WinDVD6? Have you tried playing other software players: Media Player Classic, PowerDVD, Showtime? Any red highlighted items showing in ReMake?

I still need to see the menu in ReMake with the Buttons pane showing. There must be something that the error log is showing empty button set.

Could you run the NavPack Extractor and upload the files all zipped to some file hosting site?

Just tried the DVD on Media Player and there's no menu.It plays the individual chapters when i select them.

The empty button set messages is correct. These VTS contain incorrect button info when they should've cleared.

Tracing through from First Play, it should bring you to the menu in VTS1/Menus en/PGC13. This is what you see in WinDVD6, but not in MPC?

In VTS1/Menus en/PGC7, there's a huge button, you can either 'Delete button' in the Preview window or 'Delete program and block' in the Programs pane. Hopefully this will play in MPC.

As for the missing chapters, what missing chapters? I see only 1 chapter in each VTS. Or do you mean the affected VTS having the cell blanked? Most likely the source is not properly authored. Try to reauthor it again or obtain a better source.

What sorta problem exactly? Please provide the log and the steps you did to get this error. What is the source - camcorder-made video or commercial DVD?
