| I've merged video that was recorded on 2 different camcorders using DvdReMake Pro 3.5.3. The playback appears to have merged fine when I play it back on the computer using Windows Media Player 11. So I burned the DVD. Upon playing it on my standalone DVD player everything is going well until the point where the 2 seperately recorded videos come together. At that point the video contains both videos overlapping each other. The audio is fine but the video contains the last still image of the preceeding chapter with the running video of the following chapter. Suggestions? |

| Try to merge again with 3.6.3. How do you merge the video - the Merge feature, copy and append pgc, or some other ways? |

The 2 videos that were merged contained video from a vacation that was filmed with 2 separate camcorders. I wanted some of the footage from the other person's camcorder thus the need for the merge. So once I merged the 2 videos, I copied and appended the locations of some footage so that all the video would be sequentially ordered. Like I said in my first post, where the footage from my camcorder ends and the other camcorder's begins is where the playback overlaps. The final frame from my camcorder's video is stuck behind the other camcorder's running video. Audio is fine. Works fine when played back on the computer.
This whole process took quite a bit of time to merge and reorganize since I'm quite a novice at this. I'd hate to start over using a newer version. Is that my only option? |

Besides WMP11, have you tried playing on other software players? What software and disc do you use to burn?
If you have saved the project, you could load it in 3.6.3 and export and see if this helps. Otherwise, you may have to start over, but this time do a short merge as a test and burn to RW to see the result. Or as an alternative, you could demux the exported project using PgcDemux and mux with MuxMan. Then replace it in DVDRMP and export again. |
