Hi
I intalled the 3.9 version on a new computer the operating system is Vista. I have 1gig of ram and lots of hard drive space. The problem is when I go to Burn a movie it starts buring then stops and I get an error . I then put in another blank TDK in and the movie will burn fine. Does any one have a suggestion. This happens with all the movies I try.

What's the error? Without knowing it could be almost anything. Is this happening when you are burning only, or when you start the conversion process?

I have XP os but I am having the same problem. It happens during the "burn" process.
Error message: "Can't open file: M:\M-Movies\New\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_1.VOB". In this case the movie copied with the name "NEW". I click OK, then it says "writing leadout" but does not progress even after letting is sit for upward of five minutes. I have to cancel, then it says "errpr occured writing DVD" then I put in a new disc and then it burns the movie fine and the first disc is destroyed. This has been happening with all types of movies. Any suggestions?
