I want to set default audio & subtitle streams so the dvd player will use those if I select "play" from the main menu rather than choose them from a setup menu. I haven't figured out how to set those up using DVDRemake Pro. DVDShrink lets you set them if you are in reauthor mode but not full backup mode.

[quote="DimadSoft"]There is one thing still missing in DvdReMake Pro (as of now 2.3.0) to completely do what you need with DRM alone. DvdReMake Pro does not let you change streams info for PGCs - this can be done with either IfoEdit or PgcEdit. I guess this is my answer unless 2.3.4 now has that feature.

You could always change the pre-/post-commands to play the track you want. Just find out which register is you audio/subtitle stream, see if there happens anything strange with them in the post-commands of the main menu, and if not, just load the values you want in the pre-commands of the main menu. Go to the audio/sub menu in DVDRemake , and normally you would see something like: Button English audio: R[1] = 0, LinkTail PGC (highlight button x) Button English subs: R[2] = 1, LinkTail PGC (highlight button x) Now we know the audio_stream = R[1] (register 1) and the subtitle stream = R[2] (register 2) Remember, audio starts with 0 (first stream), and subs start with 1 Now just open any normal player, check the position of the track you want, and if there are no weird post-commands in the main menu pgc, just add either: (set intructions) (select value) R[1] = x R[2] = y or (system set intruction)(select direct) audio_stream# = x;subtitle_stream# = y

I was fishing around in the audio menus looking at exactly what you are talking about. I thought I could initialize audio_stream# and subtitle_stream# with the values for the audio and subtitle track I wanted as default. Just couldn't get it to happen during playback. I'll continue rooting around until I get it. Thanks for the tips.
