Hi,

Ensure that Ultra DMA mode 2 is enabled for faster transfers of burner.
right cick My Computer
click properties
select Hardware tab
click Device Manager
Expand the IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers
Right click Primary IDE Channel
click properties
select Advanced Settings tab
set Device Type = Auto
set Transfer Mode = DMA if available
Current Transfer Mode = Ultra DMA Mode 2

These same settings for Device 0 and Device 1 [depending on your PC]

Do this for all Primary IDE Channels and Secondary IDE Channels as well
NB some DMA may set different Modes eg Ultra DMA Mode 5, this is ok.

You also should reduce the burn speed to 8X. and use good media. Also if you have problem burning with CXD try nero recode.
