yes, you add the first play menu by adding my VTS which contains a menu and edit a few things. You could probably create your own VTS to add but this was just to make it easier by using the cell replace option with a new menu from something like DVD-LAB as it has to be a certain structure One issue I can think of using my VTS is that the Menu VTS in my guide is PAL Sad. Saying that you can always edit the IFO's first to change it to NTSC as you replace the cell anyway. Though I'm not sure if DRM will allow this as it probably checks the VOB and not the IFO or both the guide isn't 100% complete either (mostly command updating) Sad but hopefully you get the basics enough if you export both DVD's removing absolutely everything and email me them then I will take a look at the navigation etc in DRM and see which commands you should have to change as it only takes a few minutes now I know what to look for Wink so I can help you if you have issues you should also look at which has the most VMG Titles and Menu PGC's as it may be easier to add one to the other than vice versa Smile

@Dimadsoft, Here goes. I'm not much of a writer, but the text below spells out what I did and why I did it. I'll try to answer questions when I can. If someone understands and sees an easier way (and legal navigation way) to do some of these steps, I'd like to here from you. This is for Pearl Harbor NTSC Region 1 dual dvd movie. 1. Shrink disc 1 and disc 2 so that combined they are 4464 MB or less in size. Remove all audio tracks that you don't want in both the main movie and extras to have the least compression on your main movie and motion menu video. Keep "combine titles" selected to ensure both program chain PGCs from disc 1 and disc 2 remain intact. 2. Import both shrunk discs into DVDRemake Pro making disc 1, project 1 and disc 2, project 2. Make sure you click on the "advanced" button and save your project often during all of these changes. 3. Remove angles from disc 2 Video Title Set 6 in project 2, keeping angle 1. (DVDShrink won't let you remove angles. You could remove angles during the rip using DVDDecrypter). 4. Select, right-click, and copy Video Title Set 6 from disc 2 in project 2. (Video Title Set 6 contains the motion menus and movie for disc 2). 5. Select "DVD" in disc 1 from project 1, right-click, and "add copied VTS". This should become VTS 10 in project 1. 6. Close project 2. You don't need to save it. 7. Save project 1 as a name you'll remember about the Pearl Harbor movie (i.e. Pearl). 8. Select VMG Titles under Video Manager, right-click in the titles window, and "add titles". Select VTS 10 and Title 1. Repeat "add titles" for VTS 10 Title 2. 9. Under Video Manager select "first play". Select line 4. Insert command. Edit command to "R[5]=15" using the set instruction. Remove checkmarks from any boxes that are checkmarked. (R[5] is my trigger to know when I'm in VTS 7 or VTS 10. When it is "15" I'm in disc 1 of the movie.) 10. Expand menus under Video Manager, right-click menus, and add 5 new menu PGCs (21-25). (The new menu PGCs act as my traffic manager from between disc 1 and disc 2. All permit navigation for continuing to play the movie at the end of disc 1 or navigate to the menu system for disc 2 or the menu system for disc 1. By routing all my navigation through the menu PGCs I avoid illegal navigation messages") 11. Click on menu PGC 6, right-click, and "copy PGC". (VTS 10 PGC 1 has pre-commands that call menu PGC 6. To avoid conflict with what VTS 7 does by calling this menu PGC, I duplicate it as menu PGC 26 and have VTS 10 call menu PGC 26 instead). 12. Click on menus, right-click, and "add copied PGCs". This should become menu PGC 26. 13. Repeat this for PGCs 7 and 8. These should become menu PGC 27 & 28. 14. Select menu PGC 10. Add command "Jmp VMG Title 13". Select line 1, right-click, and "insert command". Edit line 1 to "If (R[5]==16) goto line 3. (Special Instructions) (Here's the basic traffic management commands to let the navigation know when it is receiving instructions from the beginning of the movie VTS 7 or VTS 10) 15. Select menu PGC 21. Add command "Jmp VMG Title 13". (This command starts playing disc 2 from the beginning). 16. Select menu PGC 22. Add command "Jmp VTS 10 "Root" Menu". (This command sends navigation to the motion menus of disc 2) 17. Select menu PGC 23. Add commands "R[5]=15", "R[15]=99", "Jmp VMG PGC 10". (These commands allow me to switch back to the main menu system on disc 1 when selecting the "THX" button on disc 2's setup menu). 18. Select menu PGC 24. Add commands "R[5]=16", "R[15]=99", "Jmp VMG PGC 22". (These commands set up registers to know that I'm active in disc 2's menu system) 19. Nothing goes in menu PGC 25. I put it there for consistency you'll note later. 20. Select menu PGC 26. In line 10, change reference to "VTS 7" to "VTS 10", In line 11, change reference to "VMG 7 " to "VMG 27". (See step 11 for explanation) 21. Select menu PGC 27. In line 2, change reference to "PGC 8" to "PGC 28". (See step 11) 22. Select menu PGC 28. In line 7, change reference to "VTS 7" to "VTS 10". (See step 11) 23. Expand Video Title Set 7. Expand menus. Select menu PGC 20. In the video playback window, drag the scroll bar all the way to the right until the setup menu buttons appear. Double-click on the "THX" button. Click on the "..." button to change the command. Change the command to "Jmp VMG PGC 24". Repeat this for the "THX" button in menu PGC 21. (This is how you reach disc 2's menu system without navigational errors if you want to select chapters from disc 2 instead of starting disc 1 or you want to start disc 2.) 24. Expand Program Chains under Video Title Set 7. Select PGC 1. Click on Post Commands tab. Select line 4. Insert Command. Edit command to "R[5]=16". (This extra post command let's menu PGC 10 know that we've reached the end of disc 1 and want to continue with disc 2) 25. Select Video Title Set 10. Expand menus. Select menu PGC 17. In the video playback window, drag the scroll bar all the way to the right until the setup menu buttons appear. Double-click on the "THX" button. Click on the "..." button to change the command. Change the command to "Jmp VMG PGC 23. Repeat this for the "THX" button in menu PGC 18. (These commands allow me to jump back to disc 1's menu system to select chapters or start playing the movie from the beginning of disc 1). 26. Expand Program Chains under Video Title Set 10. Select PGC 1. Click on the Pre Commands tab. Edit line 6 reference to "PGC 6" to "PGC 26". Click on Post Commands tab. Select line 5. Insert command. Edit command to "R[5]=15". Edit line 6 command to "Call VMG PGC 10 (Resume cell 1)". (See step 11 for pre-command changes. The post command changes tell the navigation system that we are returning to the main movie and want to initialize the register values as though we just inserted the DVD.) 27. Hide buttons for audio and subtitles that were stripped out and the bonus button on disc 2. Some audio and subtitle buttons require that you move the scroll bar in the video window all the way to the right to see the buttons. 28. Export a test DVD. See if it plays without navigation errors or as you intend it to using Mark's DVD Tray Player. 29. When everything works the way you want it to. Export the DVD and burn on the media you feel comfortable burning it on.

Nice and detailed description. Thanks for putting it together. Cool work with registers to keep track of the mode (disk 1/2). Did you change "title", "root", etc labels on menus? How does it work in merged disk?

Really didn't know how to change menu labels since nothing intuitive for modifying the labels appeared when I click on the "THX" button. Certainly seeing "Return to Disc 1" and "Jump to Disc 2" would be better labels than "THX". Do you have a short and sweet explanation for renaming labels? If you mean how does it work with disc 1 and disc 2 merged, well the movie will continue playing disc 2 at the end of disc 1 without any user intervention and at the end of disc 2 it will automatically return to disc 1 as though you had just inserted the DVD. When you are watching disc 1, you can select the root menu, select setup, and then select "THX" to get sent to the disc 2 menu. Same thing happens when watching disc 2. All chapter selections work correctly no matter what menu you are looking at. I just wasn't able to put all of the chapter selections on a single menu.
