Too many unknowns. Check that you can play the exported files in a software player. If it plays fine, then check that you have updated the burner's firmware, burn at average speed (not slowest nor maximum allowed speed) and use reliable media like Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden brand.

Go to the dvd drive's manufacturer's site and check for the latest version. To check what firmware version you have, use the Nero Infotool, DVDINFOPro, Imgburn, or any other tool that displays the info.

So it works on other dvd players - what brand? Just not the Pioneer?

Please state the following:

1. Version of DvdRemake you're using? Pro?
2. Brand of media and maximum labeled burn speed allowed. What's the MediaID code? Use Nero InfoTool, Imgburn, DVDInfoPro to find out.
3. What is the burn speed?
4. What is the model of Pioneer dvd writer? Firmware version?
5. What does not play exactly? No menu, movie, or just blank video?

If i may ask where are you from, because i have never really spoken to people in other States or Country`s it`s just nice to know that there are other people that can relate to these programmes.

What is the size of the exported DVD since you mentioned DVD9 -R? If you're burning to DVD9 and the size is more than 4.7GB, always use Verbatim DVD9 DL +R. Don't use -R brand as it is hard to make it work, and not all players can play DL -R disc.

What software do you use to burn? I'd recommend Imgburn - it is the best there is and very reliable and free.

When you export the DVD, you can export to any folder you want, including VIDEO_TS. If using Imgburn, it will automatically put the DVD files into the auto-created VIDEO_TS folder in the disk.

What kind of disc (DVD-ROM, +R, -R, +R DL, -R DL, etc.) can your Pioneer play as that could be the problem?

Hi There, just would like you to know that i have downloaded the img burn and trying it and using DVD9+ disc`s Verbatim stock. The funny thing is when i use Nero to burn it selects it`s own layer when it burns this progamme that you use you have to select your own layer witch i think is sweet, maybe if you look at it that way that might be the cause of that disc not playing the layer break point wasn`t set the way it should be. I have read up before on DVD studio pro 4 because i am a Mac user most of the time and it told me that the duel layer break points for Layer 0 and Layer 1 should be exact, when i write a dvd disc fron the Mac i use auto select break point and that always works for me, but if it doesn`t wanto write it will tell me that it cant write and all i do is add more chapters to the time line and then it fixes it for me .
