I realize this is a little off topic, but my trusty laptop just failed after thosands of sucessful copies. It was the first laptop model to have a 1x dvd burner.
Now Im looking at a new unit and I have a choice of either a 250gig (5400rpm) or a smaller but faster 160gig (7200rpm) Hard disk. Would I be better off with the faster unit for DVD95 purposes? Thanks. |

Well I personally would go with the 7200 but the 5400 is larger i guess it would depend on how much storage space you need which way to go VS how much quicker you could copy and with the 7200rpm Hard drive you will not notice a big difference in time but a machine with a good processor and plenty of ram and you will be very happy with. |
