| @Dimadsoft: Wow. I’m always impressed how quickly you jump on a problem and fix it. Compared similar exports from v.2.3.3 and v.2.2.3 --> files are the same (good!). A repeat export from v.2.3.3 to a different folder writes complete file set also. Unfortunately, I get complete file rewrites with v.2.3.3 even when it shouldn’t. Example: export once, and then immediately do an “Update export” --> it rewrites all the files. Get the same result after a single edit to a navigation command. (It should have rewritten just one ifo file.) Is the "Update export" action supposed to be working yet? If it is, what is the correct procedure? It is just grayed out (should be) if there are no modifications. | Quote: | | Get the same result after a single edit to a navigation command. (It should have rewritten just one ifo file.) All internal "edited" flags get cleared. Once there are changes you can click "update exports". If changes cause vob file(s) changes then corresponding vobs are reexported (removing old before). Ifos are updated in any case. |

| Sorry for mixing posts. I didn’t dig deep enough (first time that’s happened). The behavior I described only happens with a particular sequence of steps. It looks like a minor issue where DRM doesn’t properly account for an initial export performed without any edits, which would rarely be done unless you were testing software like I was. If you import and immediately make an export (no edits), the “update export” function then becomes available. That may not be intended, but wouldn't be a problem by itself. The problem occurs on the first “update export” operation after that, whether or not any edits have been made. It rewrites all files, regardless of circumstance. Subsequent update exports behave normally. A more normal user sequence would be to import and make edits before an initial export. The “update export” function seems to behave as expected with that sequence. The function is only available after a new edit is made and only exports changed files (even on the first "update export" operation). Paul |
