Hi all...am new to this forum and just hope that someone can help me with my problem. Embarassed I am using Roxio software with my freecom external dvd - + dual layer burner and i cant get it to burn anything to disc with dvd+. Crying or Very sad Very vague i know but just wondered if anyone could give me something to try to get it to work. Thanks

I would ditch Roxio and use some other burning software.

Try the drive on a friend's computer to find out if it's a drive problem or a system/software problem. Have you any other burning or emulation program installed?

Thanks for the reply....yes the drive works fine on another computer. i have nero installed also and have uninstalled it and tried roxio software without it.....still with the same result....

Maybe you can post some logs from either roxio or nero to see what steps the writer takes and see where the error lies.
