| Hi, at first: DvdRemake is a great prog. It gets better with each version! BUT: while Importing or Exporting a DVD, DvdvRemakePro blocks the whole system. It's not the CPU usage nor the memory usage, but it stresses the HD's so much, that the complete system is nearly unusable. It's like if a prog uses 100% of my CPU! This problem exists since i got the first version of DVDRMP 3.x... Is there any plausible explanation for this behaviour? Is there any solution, or is it just a bug? My System: CPU: AMD Athlon 64 - 3500+ RAM: 1 GB OS: Windows XP x64 (Same problem under Win XP Pro...) HD's: 3x Samsung SP2504C (250 GB / Serial ATA II) Cheers, aumaster |

| DRMP has to look throu lot of data on disk import. You can reduce the stress on system during import by setting large "BOV suearch" interval. On export there are literally gygabytes of data to be written to disk. DRMP attempts to do it fast. May be it is possible to change the way disk operations are done - we wil have to experiment with this. |
