Hi, I have had a Cello DR-810 DVD+R Recorder for a couple of months with no problems, but yesterday my picture and setup screens changed to black and white. I have tried 2 new scart leads, with no success. If I connect my other DVD Player to the tv scart socket that plays in colour okay, but when I re-connect the Cello DR-810 it's back to black and white again. I would be grateful for any help as thier helpline was useless, Many thanks!

Did you check to see if the Cello is outputting NTSC, PAL or Secam? Adjust the setting to the right one for your TV, even within PAL there are other selections possible.

Yes, I have checked the settings. The player was working fine and it was in the middle of watching a programme on a disc when the picture suddenly changed to black and white. I fear the unit may be permanently R.I.P.

Sounds like it.. or maybe the cable isn't all that well...maybe the cable got pinched on time or another? *edit* just looked over your original post... nvm my comments.... you tried two leads already.
