Does anyone have a solution or is aware of this particular situation. I have many dvd rewritable discs. I have no problems with them except for two. I had copied a movie on each of them. Now when I want to use the rewritable for something else, it refuses to erase the data completely on them. When I erase the disc it erases and says it is complete. However when I try to record something new it says the disc is not blank would you like to erase? I do and same message again and round and round I go in circles. The two discs I have are TDK DVD+RW and SONY DVD +RW. I have done a quick ersae and A full erase and still the same thing. The discs appear to be in good condition. They used to work before. I have tried erasing in other computers but still no help. Should I send it back to the manufacture (I have had them over a year or wo now) or just bin them and buy new ones?
Thanks for the tip which I tried. One disc failed with the following error (attached). The second disc appeared to work. However when I tried to burn something on this it kept saying disc was not blank and needed to be erased.
