Hi there,
Quote:
[Medium error, Power calibration fail (CD-burner is dirty)]
Usually related to cheap media. And yes, I personally hate Memosux media. I never ever had success with them. When I bought my 1st CD burner, it was an HP External 2x drive. Oh man, what a awsome drive, at the time Smile I bombed like 8 out of 10 of those Memorex media. Bought some Ricoh Gold (At the time) and I had 100% success. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Now for Blindwrite, I only used it once without success. I have this french CD (Lapin Malin) for my son and of course hate for him to play with original. Tried to back it up, and it still looking for the original I can try again in the future and provide a LOG, but I just use the original these days. Then again, I know nothing about CD protection, and game CD with all those secure methods that blindwrite is suppose to be able to copy !

Why do I have to install yet another piece of third party software (Daemon Tools) in order to get a .bwt image to actually function as it should? None of the copies of my games will run from the burnt CD. Yes they will install, but none of them will play - they all ask for the original CD to be inserted.. My latest 'coasters' are duplicates of my Battlefield 2 discs.. Having been a previous purchaser of Blindwrite 4.x, I thought I'd give the new version a try.. and now I know I won't be buying this one for sure.. PS and is anybody actually posting in here nowadays? Nearly all the threads are from 2005 or 2004 !!!
