I'm trying to evaluate your PhotoDVD 2.0.6.794, but am having no joy. On the set-up page (the one after the Pictures and Audio pages) the drop-down for speed of copy, to right of "Target Device", is empty - doesn't respond. When I click on "Next" at bottom of that page, I get "Device not ready - insert empty media" - this despite the fact that a blank has already been loaded. I've tried DVD +R and DVD -R formats, but after that my know-how runs out. And yes - my computer claims to be DVD capable, though this is the first time I've tried it. Any idea what's going on?

Hi, First suggestion, update to the latest version of PhotoDVD 2.2.2.10 http://www.vso-software.fr/download_product_direct.php?product=photodvd When you go to My Computer do you see your burner appear there?

Hi there, As suggested above, upgrade to the latest version. If you are still having issues, please provide us a full conversion log. You can now find the log file here: C:\Documents and Settings\[USERNAME]\Application Data\Vso If you see NO BURNER in the output selection, send us this log: My Documents\PcSetup\PcSetup.log This is the Pattin Couffin driver, needed from the VSO Software to be able to talk to your burner.
