Hi, I'm new at this, so pardon me for noobish (I'm from Sweden U know...) questions. I have purchased the DVDReMake 3.5 (not pro) in order to merge 2 movies from 2 separate tapes from my videocamera. I have made them to DVD format via my DVD-recorder and then put them into 2 separate folders on my HD. I have created them into 2 separate projects in DRM. DRM creates a 3rd project when merging them. In the 3rd project DRM creates a navigation-page as a startpage when using the finished project in a regular homeDVD. WHY DOESNīT THE NAVIGATION WORK ???? If I choose film #2 it goes to some īdeadendī and then stops without doing what itīs suppose to do.... Start my second film!! Do I have to purchase the PRO-version to get navigation ??? I feel ripped of my 25$. /Dag Artinger - Sweden

Hi and welcome to the forum! DRM does not modify your 2 projects. It just merges your 2 projects with navigation of each project intact and create a startup menu so you can choose which disk to play. So if your original disk does not play automatically, then probably something wrong with the navigation. You wanna fix it first before merging. During play, to access the startup menu, press Title menu on your remote. To modify navigation, you will need the Pro version. Regular version does not have access to dvd commands. You can upgrade to Pro, there's an upgrade price at Dimadsoft site.

Hi toaddub! Many thanks for a quick reply! My separate discs starts automaticly when putting them in my DVD. It's just simple audio/video without any navigation converted to DVD-format from a analog videocamera throu my DVD-recorder. Since I get a startup-meny when merging (brown screen with 2 arrows saying Disc 1 and Disc 2) I assumed that it gave me a choice to select Disc 1 or 2. This simple navigation doesn't work (the way I want it) Is it possible that I have done something wrong in the process? 2 discs (just audio/video) 1 merge 1 startup-menu to choose discs from. Any tips for how to prepare my discs in order to work properly?? Or do I have to Upgrade to Pro? I'm all new at this audio/video-making. /Dag Artinger - Sweden

What is the way you want it to play? At startup menu, select first disc, after that it'll go back to startup menu so you can select disc 2? Or after first disc finishes playing, it'll play disc 2 automatically? Either of these 2 options will require you to modify dvd commands. Only the Pro version has that capability. Well, you can use another freeware tool, PgcEdit, to do this also if you don't want to upgrade. If you like the DvdReMake Pro features and interface, I'd recommend you upgrade it. Its full potential is based on your imagination and understanding. Never hurt to have more tools available at your disposal. If you choose option 2 and don't care about the menu, you can use another freeware tool, DVDShrink, in Reauthor mode. It'll automatically add the commands for you. This is the easiest method.
