Hi guys, heard there are some pretty knowledgible individuals here, so I'm gonna ask it... Lately I've only been able to only burn CD-R etc. on my burner, (It is a DVD burner - a 'Pioneer 109' I think). For some reason I can't burn anything to DVD without a burn / write failure. I've tried Nero, (it was the only one I'd used forever), then I got the write errors, and I uninstalled it; subsequently I've tried (Blindwrite's) 'CopytoDVD' and 'Cheetah Burner'. Both will generally write the CD's, although CopytoDVD is the best; but will fail on burning DVD's. Do you think this to be a software or hardware problem? I was going to buy another DVD burner today. (BTW, I've tried alot of different types of media, and good ones too). Specifically the error submitted by CopytoDVD is X error: Write sector failed at sector 1501920 (It appears to be on closing / finalizing the DVD or just before). Any help is appreciated, thanks for your time and attention guys.

Can you post the Nero log if you have one? It's very detailed in describing the error and everything related.
