| I don't have any problems playing your sample in any of the standalones. I can't find anything wrong with the menu, except that the menu vob is in 4:3 but its ifo defines it as 16:9 with wide and pan/scan button highlights, but this has nothing to do with your problem. I send your file link to Dimad to take a look. Could you perform the same operation with MenuShrink and test it on your standalone, and see how it behaves? Just do the same thing like the sample, except don't convert to still in the main menu. Export. Zip this as original. Then use MenuShrink 2.4 to still the main menu. Zip this as menushrink. Send both zipped files to Dimad. He'll take a look. |

Okay i've tested the output created by menushrink and there are no problems with playback. The audio plays to the end of the cell. I'm uploading the original and the menushrink version right now. Yousendit is very slow at the moment. | toaddub wrote: | | I can't find anything wrong with the menu, except that the menu vob is in 4:3 but its ifo defines it as 16:9 with wide and pan/scan button highlights, but this has nothing to do with your problem. | Why is this wrong? Because the menu is in pan/scan the vob file has a 4:3 aspect ratio. I have some other dvd's on my computer and the ones with pan/scan menu are all playing in 4:3 when you open the menuvob directly instead of using the ifo. |

I happen to look at one my dvd's menuvob which happens to be 16:9. As long as the button highlights are in the right place when playing in either aspect ratio, you're fine. Just forget I brought this up. |

The still menu does not stay constant, or the audio does not play to the end and replays again? Do not fix the still time if there's audio. What is the model of your player? Have ya'll tried 3.3 and 3.3.1? Do they behave the same thing? | drama's elaboration is identical to my problem. My stand-alone player is a BlueTinum® DVD with USB & Cardreader - BT-DVDTT2055. Was updated with firmware recently but the constant still menu and audio looping (after 1 sec) also occured before updating the player. I've send you a PM with a link to test file. I think if Dimad can fix drama's problem it'll also apply in my case. |

toaddub, I just performed the same operation with MenuShrink on the sample (created with 3.3.2) I send you. It plays perfectly just like drama's. So now I really look forward to another 3.3.2 fix Thanks for pointing out how to make another sample with MenuShrink which I've never used before. |

| Which previous version that works for both of you guys? At least this way, you'll help Dimad to go back and compare the code differences that he made thus far. |

| Ditto, but 3.3.2 is my first version. I'll try requesting older versions from Dimad. |
