liteon lightscribe software

just got a liteon lightscribe drive and there wasnt any lightscribe labeling software in the box, even though it says on the box there should be. were can i download it from?, i have looked on the liteon site but couldnt see it(only an update on there) thanks

Hi shakennstirred and welcome to the forum Did your drive come ina box or was it in a bag? If it was in a box then it should of come with some software to allow for Lightscribe writing. If your drive came with Nero burning ROM 6.0.0.8 or later, plz check the label making software included as it should have a LS option. If not you can download the LS software Here If this doesn't help please post some more details about the software you should of had with your writer and we will work it out and get you Lightscribing asap Smile

hi there thank you for the welcome it was a retail boxed liteon drive the only software in the box was a DVD player, no nero or the lightscribe disc`s. i have nero 7 but thare is a problem with the version and lightscribe , so i have read on a few forums. so i have gone back to nero6 and lightscribe is working now

A retail boxed Liteon always comes with software so I would ask my retailer where it is Smile

But I'm glad v6 works well and you are happily using the LS feature of your new drive.
