| Thanks for the replies to my initial post. I have tried the "Budget" 1-4x speed DVD+R discs on the TEAC drive and found them to work fine- as long as you reduce the burn speed right down. I have ordered some Datawrite Titaniums now, so will let you all know how I get on with them. |

Nice to know you found that the plus R versions are working for you. titanium is a good quality short term solution for sure. If you need good long term archiving then may i suggest a small batch of Taiyo Yuden for those important backups  |
