I see you have a plan on developing a demo version of VSO PhotoDVD, I downloaded VSO PhotoDVD2.0.12.1001, this must be a beta or still in the making, Only have 100 pictures to load for a Dvd that hold over 4 gigs, I don't think I would waist a dvd r on 100 pictures ,When you come out with a trial version, I'd love to take a look at it, until then, Not impressed, GET REAL Surprised/

As it says on the website, the unlicensed version only allows 100 pictures - apart from that, I believe it's fully functional. The licensed version allows as many as you can fit on the DVD (the exact number will depend on how long you display each one for, but it's a lot!). If you don't want to risk wasting a DVD on it, try using a rewriteable. Ian G.

Hi AW and welcome to the forums As Ian as stated, if unsure please try with a DVDRW media. DiViDeZeRo has just finished reviewing the full version of PhotoDVD here There is also a new version available here just incase you get any errors with the trial version you are using. please remember the trial version is only intented to give you a feel of how the software works. If it allowed for full functionality in trial mode no-one would buy the software and further development would not be possible.

The review comment about the rendering time was interesting. I recently tried using the MainConcept mpeg2 encoder to make a small slide show and found it was much slower than than the one in PhotoDVD! The quality was no better, either. Ian G.
