I just downloaded the trial version of PhotoDVD version 2.0.11.965 to make sure I like it before I buy. It installed fine, and restarted my computer -- but I can't even complete the first step, I can't add any pictures! I'm running W98se with Athlon XP2000, 384Meg of ram, what can the problem be? It sounds like an excellent and easy to use program, but I can't even get started! thanks

You should be able to add files or folders using the buttons in the bottom left hand corner of the PhotoDVD window, or you can drag and drop from Windows Explorer. What happens when you try? It's possible there's a problem with your image files - can you view them in any other apps, such as Windows Picture and FAX Viewer? Ian G.

I tried both the button down in the left hand corner (add), and also tried going file/add.. A window opens for me to select my files, but when I double click on them or hit the 'open' button, the window closes but no file has been added. I tried both files on my computer and also files from a memory card - nothing either way. The files I'm trying to open are .jpg and I have used them successfully in other programs to print; I wanted this program to burn to DVD. I also downloaded a trial of MemoriesOnTV and that is working fine with the same files.

I'm baffled! It might be worth trying the drag and drop approach, if only to see whether it gives you an error message, but the only other thing I can think of is to uninstall and then try again with the latest version (announced this morning). Ian G.

I am using the new version (2.0.11.965). I went ahead and uninstalled and reinstalled, and it is behaving exactly the same way. where can I get an older version, and do the older versions support burning to DVD? *edit* I'm trying version 2.0.6 now and it is working...so far.... are there vesions between 2.0.6 and 2.0.11?

version 2.0.6 is working, but aren't there any menus for DVD? A DVD can hold ALOT of pics, and I'd like to be able to separate them into groups/categories/chapters -- can't this program do this?

Hello, Menus are coming shortly. This has been a big request. Our developers are currently working on this function, I hope that within a couple of months this function will be a part of photodvd.

Hello everyone, I see everyone pitched in their ideas, but the solution is this: PhotoDVD v2.0.11 has a SERIOUS bug, that would cause the software to output NOTHING ! Please go back to v2.0.10 or use the latest v2.0.12b ! Thank you !
