I have one DVD that imported fine on my home machine (WindowsXP) and I am able to work on it. As I had a lot of chapters to move I put it on an mp3 player and copied it to a machine at my office over a USB1 connection. (The office machines has no DVD drives) It also imported OK there but the minute I start changing views it locks up and gives me about eight error messages telling me it needs to close. After I click OK on them all it closes. The office machine has Windows ME and a slower processor. Any ideas?

I updated to 3.14 and I'm still having this probem on this machine. 1) The subpicture tab is missing-all I get is an audio pane. 2)Whenever I click on PGC 1 I get an error message telling me that DVDRemakePro caused an error in kernel32.dll I tried updating the Directshow files on this machine as I occasionally get dhelp crashes but that didn't help.

So you're having problem with Windows ME. What is your processor & speed, and video card?

Try to reset your layout, under View->Layout->Reset. If doesn't help, how 'bout start fresh by deleting the DvdReMakePro registry, HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\DimadSoft key. Close the program first before deleting.

Looks like you're running on a very old system. 128MB is not enough nowadays. Curious, why is your virtual memory much bigger than physical memory? Mine is set at 1.5x of physical RAM (recommended level). Here are a few things you can try: 1. Visual effects -> adjust for best performance. 2. Set best performance for Programs. 3. Set virtual memory to recommended level (whatever the number the sysytem displays). If you have 2 or more drives, set paging file size on the non-system drive (i.e. not on drive C) to improve performance. 4. Reboot to clear out any stray threads and memory leaks. 5. Don't run any intensive memory applications. 6. Restart DRMP, if still crash, try to run in different compatibility mode, like Windows 98, 2000, NT. 7. If still crash, then upgrade to XP and get more memory. Windows ME experiences more crashes than XP, even if not using DRMP.

Thanks. It looks like the main problem was Windows ME. I tried the program with a similar old machine with Windows 2000 and the same DVD opened up properly.
