|
|
| I added a welcome screen to an Apollo 13 DVD. It plays OK on my computer but when I try in on a Sony DVP-NS315 DVD player it gives me an error. The player says the disc is dirty (error C1300). I know it's not since it has just been recorded and works fine on the computer. Does anyone know if Sony DVD players have some sort of detection code the doesn't allow playing decrypted DVDs ? |

| Computers and standalone players do not read discs in the same way so there could be something in the structure that your standalone does not like. Have you tried the same disc in another player to see if it works there ? Have you burned other DVDs on your PC that worked on the Sony ? Maybe you could explain what exactly you did to add that extra screen, it might help to understand what's going on. Also try to load your modified DVD in pgcedit, it does a good job at checking structural problems. |
