burned photoshow on cd-r and it DVD player does....

...does not recognize the disc. I understood that it was supposed to play on DVD. Is this correct?

Did you burn the cd with PhotoDVD? If so, I'm surprised that it worked! I'm not surprised that you can't play it though - I tried making mini DVDs on cd a while back (with different software) but I could never play them. Ian G.

Photoshow is it's own application that has nothing to do with VSO. Phototodvd is a VSO product, and what it does is take your photo's and put them into a dvd compliant video and then burns to dvd. So exactly what is your question> PhototoDVD does not burn to cdr, and if you did burn it to a cdr then there's no wonder it doesn't work. What are you trying to accomplish by burning dvd compliant files to cdr? I'm thinking you want a vcd or svcd compliant video, if so, your going about it all wrong.
