Currently, VSO PhotoDVD allows images to be "soft" rotated. So the image will appear rotated in a slideshow, but the original file is unchanged. This is really useful because I don't like modifying original files. Also, there is currently an option under Settings / Imaging / Properties / Cutting to be able to automatically crop up to 30% of the image. This can be unpredictable, and sometimes heads can be chopped off by accident. It would be useful to have a "soft" crop feature. This way, there is no need to use the Cutting property. User could drag a rectangle around the image area. Within the interface, the part inside the rectangle would appear normally, while the part outside the rectangle would appear faded. There should be an option to constrain cropping rectangle to 4:3 or 16:9 aspect. Well, that's my 2 cents .. thanks for listening  |
