I am having a prob flashing the drive in here. I was using the hp update straight from their site. Only prob is the firmware said it was required for the mydvd driver to be installed. Which I deleted cause I didnt want a conflict with nero. How do I work round this? I dont have the original driver cds and I cant find a download for it anywhere.

I tried that sir q and no luck. You wouldnt have a copy of hp mydvd or whatever the hell it is..lol? :>

Im afraid I dont. Have you tried contacting HP with your issue? they should resuppply you with a disc if you own a license.
