New to DivXToDVD; files don't play on home DVD player

Sorry if this question was asked and answered before, but I looked around and didn't see anything that helped me with my problem, albeit a very basic one. I am new to DivXToDVD and I converted an AVI file without problem. What files need to be included when you burn a DVD? Other than the files that the program generates. I've tried to add the main VOB file using the software program that came with my DVD writer (it's an HP dvd300e) and it doesnt even see the file to add. Sorry if I'm asking a lame question, but I don't see what I'm doing wrong. Thanks in advance.

You need to add all files that DivXtoDVD generates, and they must be inside video_ts folder. With some burning software you must select "Video DVD" to ensure working output.
