I have a large video file with 186 chapters (I inserted a couple using the instructions on the website to get the places I needed and that seemed to work fine). I am trying to use a menu to jump to specific chapters from a scene menu that I generated with another program and imported and then copied as the website tutorial showed, while the first two scenes work (1 and 20), chapters 56 and higher don't do anything with PowerDVD but stop, and in VOBedit I get a message there is an error in the command (but not see any details). I can play the video all the way through from PowerDVD by directly changing the navigation bar so I'm sure the file is okay and all continuous. Is there a limit to how many chapters can be used? I did check with IFOEdit and saw a difference from the hex from the online DVD Replica code generator to that on the code I edited in DVDRemake, it shows the address field in a different order: Replica: 35 25 00 01 00 38 00 02 DVDRemake: 35 25 00 38 00 01 00 02 Is this a difference? Replica doesn't handle the larger chapter numbers though, when I try chapter 111 it resets to 1. DVDRemake does seem to code the addresses in hex okay, but does that cause an error with DVD playbacks? Any help is greatly appreciated! I have been banging my head against this. Crying or Very sad I tried to use the NAVpack program to attach but it was still very large, the video is about 3Gb. Thanks, D

Is this video all in one PGC? According to DVD specifications, there is a maximum of 99 program cells per PGC. You can have up to 999 chapters per title but only up to 99 in any one PGC. Did DVD Remake let you exceed these maximums? If you intend to have 186 chapters, they will have to be in at least 2 PGC's.

Thanks for quick reply. I'm not entirely clear what you mean by just 'one' PGC vs. program cells, there are 186 different PGCs, in the single VTS (spread across 3 VOB files). To explain, the source was a Tivo recording of a football game which was then burned to a DVD. I copied the DVD and wanted to set up a menu to make scene selections and spruce it up with some images and a screen listing the season schedule. I just inserted new chapters by splitting some existing PGCs. I just opened the file in DVDRemake and edited them, it didn't give me any type of error or notice about a maximum. Do I need to split the video into two VTS? D

Typically program cells are used to split a title into chapters, however titles can span across more than one PGC. Give me an example of a command from one of your scene buttons. Also, can you attach a screenshot or two with one of your PGC's selected, so we can get an idea of what we're dealing with here?
